Premium tyre maker Hankook increases its range of light truck and van tyres, with new all-season and winter tyres

The new Vantra ST AS 2, is an all-season tyre with the 3PMSF symbol, designed for reliable driving in all weather conditions. Particularly suited to road surfaces common in urban areas during the cold season and, with its specially developed “Ice-Philic-Technology”, the new Vantra ST AS 2 ensures increased grip even at lower temperatures. This innovation in Hankook’s all-season tyre line-up is now available in 12 sizes from 14 to 16 inches with tread widths of 185 – 235 mm and aspect ratios of 80 – 60 in the speed indices Q, R, T and H. Further sizes are currently under development.

The latest model from thehigh-performance i*cept series, the Winter i*cept LV for vans, provides a more stable grip on snow, ice and wet roads as well as significantly increased mileage. The Hankook engineers achieved an increase in mileage of up to 10% compared to conventional models, including a wider tread design. An optimised groove structure on the shoulder block prevents irregular wear and contributes to increased mileage and economy, which is of particular interest to fleet managers. The Hankook Winter i*cept LV is initially available in 12 sizes from 15 – 17 inches with tread widths from 175 – 235 mm and aspect ratios from 75 – 60 in the R and T speed indices.

The Vantra ST AS2 and Winter i*cept LV join the already established Vantra LT, a durable summer tyre for commercial vans and transport vehicles. The Vantra LT provides excellent durability, excellent wet performance, and offers increased mileage in comparison to conventional summer van tyres. Even under heavy loads, a balanced footprint and stability is maintained to ensure driver safety. The Vantra LT is available in 37 sizes from 13 – 16 inches with tread widths from 155 – 215mm and aspect ratios from 75 – 60 in the speed indices T, S, R, Q and H.
