Durite and sister company ECCO Safety Group will return to this year’s Road Transport Expo at Stoneleigh Park, showcasing an extensive range of intelligent fleet safety, vehicle technology and operational management solutions.
Making its official debut at the show is Durite Live AI, Durite’s next-generation AI-powered fleet management platform, developed to give operators complete real-time visibility and intelligent control across their fleets. Designed to improve visibility, compliance and overall road safety, the platform combines live vehicle tracking, AI-enabled video telematics, driver behaviour analysis and predictive fleet insights within one connected ecosystem.
Durite Live AI has been developed to support a wide range of industries and vehicle applications, including haulage and logistics, van and utility fleets, recovery vehicles, and construction and material handling operations.
The platform also integrates seamlessly with Durite’s expanding portfolio of AI-enabled safety and monitoring technologies, helping operators build a fully connected fleet safety solution tailored to their operational requirements.
At the heart of the system is a suite of advanced AI-powered capabilities focused on proactive risk prevention, driver protection and operational optimisation. Durite Sales Director John Nobbs explains:
“AI-powered Risk Detection continuously analyses driver behaviour and surrounding road conditions through AI-enabled cameras, identifying fatigue, distraction, mobile phone usage, tailgating, lane departure and harsh manoeuvres in real time.
“The system is also designed to recognise escalating risk patterns and issue immediate alerts, helping to prevent incidents before they occur.”
An integrated 24/7 AI Assistant provides users with instant step-by-step support for configuring geofences, setting alert parameters, diagnosing devices and generating reports. This reduces training requirements and helps operators maximise system performance quickly and efficiently.
In addition, personalised Driver Coaching, known as Trip Binding, links trip-level data such as harsh braking, acceleration, idling and fatigue events directly to individual drivers, enabling tailored coaching programmes that support continuous improvements in safety, fuel efficiency and driving standards.
Real-time Driver Monitoring and Feedback also provides immediate in-cab alerts when unsafe behaviour is detected, allowing drivers to self-correct instantly and helping drivers stay safe, including by identifying signs of fatigue.
Meanwhile, in the event of an incident, First Notice of Loss (FNOL) generates a comprehensive digital evidence package including video footage, GPS positioning, sensor data, driver identification and a complete event timeline. Durite says this helps accelerate insurance claims processing, minimise fraud risk and reduce vehicle downtime.
Alongside Durite Live AI, visitors will also be able to explore a wide range of AI-enabled and vehicle safety technologies from Durite and ECCO Safety Group. These include AI driver monitoring systems, wireless AI camera kits, advanced camera monitoring and visibility systems, safe zone and work area lighting, pedestrian and cyclist warning systems, and vehicle lighting and warning solutions.
“These are all industry-specific safety technologies developed for the haulage, utility, recovery, construction and material handling sectors,” adds John Nobbs. “A good example is our Warning Light, which improves warning signal visibility in low-light and high-risk environments.”
The system will be demonstrated in a specially constructed dark room, highlighting how it enhances hazard awareness for commercial vehicles and pedestrians operating in construction, logistics and other applications where lighting conditions are poor.
Durite will also showcase its AI Low Bridge Detection System, designed to help reduce bridge strike incidents by providing advance driver alerts for low-clearance structures. Launched at the show last year, the system supports compliance, improves fleet safety performance and helps operators avoid costly vehicle damage and downtime.
“We are delighted to be returning to this premium transport show and to officially launch Durite Live AI,” said John Nobbs, Sales Director at Durite. “This platform represents a major step forward in connected fleet safety and operational intelligence. By combining real-time AI insights, advanced video telematics and integrated safety technologies, we’re helping operators identify risks earlier, support drivers more effectively and gain greater operational control across their fleets.”
John and the teams from Durite and ECCO Safety look forward to welcoming existing and new customers to Stand R40 from June 30 to July 2.
